Recently, StockedPhotos.com, the network’s stock photo resource, has received an upgrade and a facelift. The cosmetic results are immediately noticeable, as you can see by the before and after images below:

Basically, the website has been redesigned to be brighter, cleaner, more professional, and to better showcase the site’s inventory. The design is also a bit more functional with the categories of the website now being listed down the left column of the home page, and there is a location for featured “photo sets” on the bottom of the homepage. A photo set is an interesting feature of stockedphotos, and it is a staged photo shoot at a reserved location involving professional models, make-up artists, proper lighting, and generally all of the touches that are often lacking at many amateur contributed micro stock photo websites. A few other handy features stockedphotos now offer include RSS feeds to help users keep track of the photo updates, and download count along with a most popular page, so for the first time you can find out what’s photos are the most interesting to other users on the website. Best of all, in about two weeks, there will be several new custom photo sets added, totaling several thousand additional all exclusive and all model released photos. There are also a number of enhancements throughout the site, but if there is a cool feature that you’d like to see on it, that isn’t yet there, let us know about it.
